It brings Skate Love BCN great pleasure to announce our highly anticipated DJ lineup for 2024! For our 8th edition, we have officially elevated our lineup from our past format of 5 DJs to 15 DJs representing the global rollerskating movement and various dance music scenes that we find compatible with our festival’s ethos.
We are beyond honored to feature the one and only Moodymann as our highlighted special guest of the year! After our crew attended his legendary Soul Skate event in Detroit, it only felt right to invite him to our jam in Barcelona!
Take a deep dive into the full lineup, where you will find various musical selectors and thought leaders from the global rollerskating movement representing everywhere from Barcelona to New York City, Detroit to London, Amsterdam to Paris, and beyond! The curation of DJs this year will pay homage to all things underground skate music, house music, hip hop, R&B, funk, disco, and new school afro music!
The elevation of this lineup would not be possible without the help of our new 2024 Music Director, Willy Soul plus our programming partners and family he works with, Xanadu Roller Arts - Bushwick, Brooklyn’s newest rollerskating the rink led by Varun Kataria! Thanks to them + our founder Michelle Barrios, we put our collective minds together to create the most special Skate Love lineup to date!
